本学が主催する3回の英語スピーチイベントの第1弾として、7月12日（日）に「スピーチ原稿作成クリニック」が開催されました。このスピーチ・ライティング・クリニックには、本学の学生や教職員に加え、2つの高校と1つの小学校から生徒たちが参加しました。素晴らしいスピーチを作成するための執筆プロセスの各段階について解説し、注意を払うべきポイントを説明しました。クリニックは、参加者同士が交わす興味深い課題や笑顔、笑い声、そして素晴らしいアイデアで溢れていました。

次回のイベントは、9月13日に本学で開催される「スピーチクリニック」で、ステージ上で素晴らしいスピーチを行う方法について取り上げます。最後のイベントは、11月15日に開催される「第8回山口学芸大学高校英語スピーチコンテスト」です。参加希望の生徒は、チラシに記載されているQRコードから引き続き登録できます。また、メールでの申し込みも受け付けています。
 
     今後の2つのイベントで皆様にお会いできることを楽しみにしています！

The first of three Yamaguchi Gakugei University (YGU) English speech events was held on Sunday, July 12th, our Speech Writing Clinic. During the speech clinic, students from two high schools and one elementary school participated, along with students and staff from YGU. We covered each stage of the writing process for creating a great speech, highlighting which points are the most important and need the greatest attention. The clinic was filled with interesting challenges, smiles, laughter, and brilliant ideas shared between the participants.

Our next event will be the Speech Presentation Clinic on September, 13th, at YGU, where we will cover how to deliver a great speech on the stage. Our final event will be the 8th Annual Yamaguchi Gakugei University High School English Speech Competition, on November 15th at YGU. Students can still be registered using the QR code found on our flyer, or applicants can also contact us by email.
